I saw this one Facebook Marketplace for $5 at a house not 5 minutes from my house, so I figured, Why not?
Unfortunately, my guy is missing his face sticker. I was hoping I’d be able to find repro stickers online, but so far I’m coming up empty. Here’s what his face should look like:
There were a few other GoBot guns that came out around the same time, all part of the RoGun line. While the GoBots were created by Tonka, another company, Arco, licensed the name to put out these robot guns. There were three other transforming guns – a water pistol, a cap rifle, and a different cap rifle with a small, transforming scope.
I had the water pistol as a kid and it leaked like a sieve, so it became just a regular toy gun at that point. I always wanted the rifle, but never got it.
